Problem	Ranges in the town of Appalachicola are difficult to see. Front range is too low and easily obscured by vessels. Suggest Coast Guard check out problem at night.
Status	Reported September, 2001. Coast Guard responds that while building an outbound range is not a possibility, they are examining the option of raising and increasing the intensity of the existing inbound range. January 21, 2002 - Coast Guard is unable to pursue the issue further because of budget constraints. CLOSED
