GICA 103rd Annual Convention

General Information

• There is no additional registration fee for spouses accompanying paid convention registrants. Registration of spouses is required, however, so we may adequately plan functions, meals and other hosted events.

• A golf outing is planned August 20. There is no additional fee for this event. Greens fees are included, and a cart will be provided. Please indicate your interest on the convention registration form.

• A spouses' activity (tour of the new Southern Foods Museum at the Riverwalk and lunch at a nearby restaurant) is planned for August 21. There is no additional fee for this event, and lunch costs are covered. Participants may expect to leave the hotel at 10:00 a.m. and return to the hotel by 2:00 p.m.

• Dress is business casual for all convention events. The tour of the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal Lock requires closed-toed shoes.

• Registration fees are fully refundable when we receive written notice of cancellation prior to August 1, 2008.

• Registration packets will be available for pickup at the convention registration desk. They will not be mailed in advance.

• Please make your hotel reservations directly with the Westin New Orleans Canal Place. Call 888.627.8180 and mention your affiliation with GICA to receive the special room rate of $109 per night.
